The amazing walking baby! Comments Off

Hunter turned 10 months old last Thursday. Too young to be walking, right? Well, Hunter believes otherwise. Too impatient to wait for a more mature, conventional walking age—12 months, say—he’s been taking steps here and there for the past couple of weeks. He improves each day and can now walk pretty reliably from Point A to Point B, often while carrying a toy in one hand (and sporting a huge, open-mouthed grin). He’s a little stiff and wobbly, of course. But he’s good at falling onto his cute little diapered butt, so no harm done.

Apologies to all, but mostly to Derek, for my shameful neglect of this site. The truth is, it’s a little above my head! I haven’t been able to figure out much of it, so I’ve mostly shied away from it and tried to ignore the intense feelings of guilt that have resulted.

I’m ready to try again, though. Seriously. Let’s see how I do.
